Sol is the Managing Director at the General Practice Academy of Australia and is a passionate medical educator who is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of Australian General Practitioners as they prepare for their FRACGP exams. Having earned his degree in Medicine in 2004, Sol began his medical career in Australia in 2006. His formative years were spent undertaking extensive training at Western Health hospitals in Melbourne, where he served as a registrar in diverse fields such as plastic surgery, urology, neurosurgery, and general surgery at Footscray and Sunshine hospitals. With an interest in acute and emergency medicine, Sol further honed his skills during a 12-month tenure as an emergency medicine registrar at Mercy Health.  This was followed by 12-months working as a locum in various rural and remote ED’s in most Australian States and Territories, before transitioning to the role of a General Practitioner in 2011. In 2013, Sol's visionary leadership led to the establishment of the General Practice Academy of Australia. With an unwavering dedication to elevating the standard of healthcare across Australia, Sol embarked on a mission to enhance the capabilities of healthcare professionals, ensuring a higher quality of care for all Australians. His expertise and commitment to medical education continue to inspire and shape the future of healthcare.
