Meet Our Team

Dr Sol Adibnejad
Dr Sol Adibnejad MD, FRACGP, DoD (SCCA), DSCMS (SCCA)

Sol has been a passionate medical educator for several years. He has been officially involved in assisting RACGP fellowship candidates since 2013 by running several exam preparation courses for all parts of RACGP fellowship exam. Sol is also an examiner for RACGP and has been actively involved in training of GPs and specifically overseas trained GPs. He is a registered registrar supervisor/ trainer for VMA (Victorian Metropolitan Alliance) and Medical Student trainer with Monash University.

 

Sol started his medical career in Australia in 2006 within Western Health network (Melbourne). He spent 5 years within public health sector as a hospital medical officer and registrar and gained experience in Emergency Medicine, General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, General Medicine, Specialty Medicine, and Urology.

 

Dr Simon Wilding
Dr Simon Wilding MBBS, FRACGP

Dr Wilding graduated from Monash University in 1996, and has worked in many varied fields of medicine, and various places including South Gippsland, Darwin, and Katherine in the Northern Territory.

Simon is a tutor at Melbourne University as well as an experienced examiner for the RACGP. He is a passionate medical educator.

 

Dr Melissa Ardley
Dr Melissa Ardley MBBS, FRACGP, DRANZCOG

Dr Melissa Ardley graduated from The University of Sydney in 2009. 
Internship was undertaken at Western Hospital in Melbourne and then Melissa was accepted into the Royal Children's Hospital training program working as a JRMO, SRMO and paediatric registrar before deciding on a move to general practice. 
A detour through obstetrics/gynaecology at Monash Health resulted in the DRANZCOG. 
Melissa recently fellowed with the RACGP in 2015 having successfully completed her GP registrar training with VMA and passing the college exams. Melissa is a keen medical educator.
Her interest areas include paediatrics, women's health, antenatal care and family planning.

Dr Rebekah Ledingham
Dr Rebekah Ledingham MBBS, FRACGP

Bek works as a GP in Broome and a medical educator with the Rural Clinical School WA. She is slowly completing her Masters of Clinical Education through Flinders University while working full time and raising her two children Lucy and Daniel as a solo Mum. 

 

She was the recipient of 2013 RACGP registrar of the year, credited for her involvement in education and encouraging her peers to get involved in educating peers and juniors. She has a passion for Aboriginal Health, Women's health and medical education. She has completed most of her medical training in the North of Australia including the Northern Territory and the Kimberley. She has helped registrars get prepared for their RACGP and ACRRM exams for the last few years in the Kimberley and has an interest in developing Near peer teaching programs. She is an RACGP examiner and an ALSO instructor.

 

Dr Joanne Mountford
Dr Joanne Mountford MBBS, FRACGP

Joanne graduated from the University of Sydney in 2005 and completed her hospital training at The Canberra Hospital.  Jo completed her general practice training in 2010 and has been a GP supervisor and RACGP OSCE examiner for several years.  Jo is currently a Liaison Physician at VCS Pathology and also works in general practice.

Dr Wendy Pakes
Dr Wendy Pakes B.Sc, B. Med. Sci (Hons), MB.BS (Hons), FRACGP

Wendy graduated from Monash University and after several years in hospitals, commenced general practice and completed her FRACGP  in 1992. She has worked in a variety of Melbourne general practices and is currently working as a tutor at Melbourne University, as a Liaison Physician with VCS as well as in general practice.  She has special interest in Women's health, travel medicine and sexual health.

She particularly enjoys involvement in medical education at all levels and is an examiner for RACGP.

 

Dr Jaclyn Brown
Dr Jaclyn Brown MBBS (Hons), FRACGP, DRANZCOG, Dip CH

Dr Jaclyn Brown graduated from Monash University in 2008. She completed her internship at Fremantle Hospital Western Australia. She spent time working throughout Western Australia in Obstetrics, Paediatrics, Aboriginal Health Service in Derby WA. She became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2013. She was invited to be an examiner for the Royal
Australian College of general practice, which she currently enjoys. Jacqui spent a year locuming around Australia before returning to her home town of Merimbula NSW where she currently works part time in General Practice. Jacqui is a new mum who at present is providing tutoring to local and international medical graduates. Her interests include women’s health, mental health and paediatrics.
