Since 2013, we have worked closely with GP registrars across Australia, helping them navigate the structure, pressure and expectations of the RACGP Fellowship exams. That experience has shaped who we are and how deeply we understand this community.
Our Purpose
Fellowship is more than an exam result. It marks the transition from registrar to independent specialist GP. Our mission is to support registrars through that journey — and celebrate them when they arrive.

I recently completed the GP Academy Written Exam Preparation Course and I’m very grateful for the support it provided. Thanks to this course, I passed both the AKT and KFP on my first attempt.

GP academy you not only prepared me for the exam, it also prepares me to be a fully qualified GP. I felt like I could have enrolled in the CCE course at the beginning of my training not just for the exam but for everything in my training and development as a GP registrar: my communication skills, consulting skills, everything needed in daily practice. I passed the written exams in bands P4 (highest) and P3 (second highest) respectively thanks to GP Academy. There is a huge amount of content and while not all the contend is "essential", they have a start system to help you prioritise study. There were so many excellent practice questions that I felt very prepared for the actual exam, and the questions in the actual exams felt very true to the prep questions.
I did find that for my study style doing a whole quiz at a time wasn't ideal, but it still worked for me by having the questions open in one tab, and then reading through the answer and explanation straight away while it was still fresh in my mind. Everyone has a different way of learning, and I think the sheer amount of resources available through GP Academy means that there's something for everyone. I also very much appreciated the pacing so it was an overwhelming amount of content available from day 1.

GP Academy is the way to go for prep for the written exams. You can use as much or as little of their content to optimise prep how you feel able. Whether that's hundreds of practice questions with evidence-provided (eTG, AJGP, Australian guidelines and bodies, uptodate) answer justifications or focused tutorials (live and then recordings if suited to your lifestyle) targeting core content, either path will improve your proficiency as a GP and be crucial to getting you comfortable to take on the exams.

I completed the comprehensive AKT and KFP course with GP Academy and passed on my first attempt!
The course was incredibly helpful throughout my preparation journey. The materials provided were both thorough and concise, making it easy to understand and retain key concepts. poor customer service that does not give customer freedom to defer the course subscription when situation change like RACGP change the format of KPT and registrar have to defer the exam. Web design is awful and with no sense of user friendly .

GP Academy is the best platform to prepare for FRACGP Exams in context of passing the exams, skills development and for practical life in future. I believe that Dr. Sol is doing an excellent job. It is highly recommended website. Please follow what Dr. Sol advises and you can clear your exam. There is no short cut for these exam as per words of Dr. Sol and Student Portal provides the best method of studying by guiding how to use RACGP Websites. I highly recommend the GP Academy preparation courses for the RACGP exams, in particular the AKT/KFP courses. Cannot recommend GP academy highly enough.
With working fulltime,travelling for hours to work and back home and looking after two young children at home,it helped me when I felt extremely overwhelmed and lost with my preparation. I was able to clear all the three RACGP exams in my first attempt,thanks to the wonderful and well structured teaching sessions and resource materials. Their guidance helped me prepare for the exams as well as enhanced my knowledge to become a good GP. It is all one needs to clear the exams.

I had the privilege to participate in the GP Academy "Comprehensive CCE Course" and I passed the CCE 2024.1 in my first attempt! I found the GP Academy course very useful in terms of paying attention to the key points also having a structured approach in a timely manner. I highly recommend GP Academy for preparation for AKT, KFP and CCE. It is an excellent course. It not only prepares us for exams but also to become more confident and the best GP we can be. When I started GP training, I struggled quite a bit and was concerned about how I would pass exams but after doing the AKT, KFP and CCE courses with GP academy, my clinical knowledge and reasoning improved so much, I became more confident and passed all 3 exams in my first attempt. The teaching provided by Dr Sol and his team is amazing and presented in a way that you feel very eager to learn and easy to remember. It is a very structured course with excellent teaching material and the practice exam questions are very similar to what you would expect in the real exam. Once again, I would like to thank Dr Sol and his team for their excellent teaching and for training us to be the best doctor we can be.

If you need to do fellowship exams for the RACGP, this course is a must. Sol and his team put so much effort into their lectures, the questionbank, and make sure everything is up to date according to the latest guidelines. I have done the course for the past 6 months and -as I am a doctor from abroad- this course has prepared me as well as possible, without having to scramble and look for all the different guidelines. Good helpful tips and aids for exam, however website hard to navigate so is time consuming, yet access is time limited which is not clearly stated upfront when sign up. All they worried is to make people pay excessive money for the course. no flexibility, when you ask for extension, give you pathetic excuse for not giving you back what you paid for. What is unfair for other candidate!? when you pay for help you expect help for yourself and not competition with other candidate for getting help. Seriously this exam is not about competition with your fellow, exam is all about making someone better to suit the exam purpose.

Highly recommend this resource for exam preparation. Sol has done a wonderful job in summarising and priotising content to make study enjoyable and much more efficient. I highly recommend GP Academy for preparation for the AKT/KFP. When I started GP training, I found it daunting just how much information we were expected to know and how best to approach study for this exam. The way GP Academy structured their course, allowed me to approach it in a manner that was not overwhelming. Their resources are fantastic and their practice exam questions simulate the real exam. There is no doubt that this is the best preparation material that is out there for written examinations. Examinations aside, the clinical knowledge acquired from studying the course material closely, has allowed me to be the best doctor I can be. With their help, I was able to secure a P4 in both the AKT and KFP, I definitely could not have achieved that without GP Academy.

I learned many things from course which I attended, which is also useful in daily practice. It was worth it.
Only feedback I could provide is if all material can be released little early to have sufficient time for revision prior to exam would be helpful. But otherwise I really enjoyed and learned during course.

GP academy gave me the structure, a study plan and a direction to making this challenging exam do able.
The course is quiet comprehensive, and with time constraints in life it does appear hard to finish. But once you do cover everything on the portal, you know you will pass.
I would still applaud your whole team for getting this course together.

I had excellent experience with GP Academy, not just with preparing me for the fellowship exams, but also proving a lot of educational resources. I passed all the exams in first attempt and I have to thanks the GP academy for their guidance and help. I did comprehensive courses for written and clinical tests. They have plenty of relevant materials on their website, so it saved me time to look for guidelines and most up to date information by myself.
From their practice tests I learn how to organise my answers in KFP. From the clinical exam preparation, I gained the confidence and improved my performance by understanding what is it important in this exam.

I am so thankful to GP academy. The resources were excellent and I felt well prepared for the exams. I also feel like a much better doctor for the knowledge that I have acquired. I passed all exams first go! I would definitely recommend GP academy to anyone sitting fellowship exams.

It has never been a rosy experience for me, in-fact the RACGP Fellowship journey has been my worst nightmare ever. Having sailed through medical school and graduated in the early 90's, from a Nigerian University, never even failed any exams in the med school. I worked in several African Countries, bagged a Master of Public Health from a South African University, did a stint in Fiji and arrived Queensland Australia in 2015 on level 1 Limited registration even though I passed my PESCI at level 2. Got level 2 after barely 3 months but that was apparently the end of the good news, I struggled with the AMC clinical exam, I did not fare well either in the RACGP exams which I started sitting, in 2017. The Medical Board demoted me back to level 1 Supervision for not progressing and passing the exams. Even when I eventually started passing the RACGP exams (AKT) in 2020 after I discovered and started using GP Academy, the Medical Board changed the goal post and refused to upgrade my supervision level to level 2 or 3 despite my approved supervisors attesting to my clinical competency. They conjured a gestapo-like clinical performance assessment panel via zoom who were overtly biased in their judgement that I was incompetent in the English language and in my clinical performance. They decreed that I remain on level 1 supervision in February 2021. 2 weeks after their pronouncement, I passed my KFP and barely 9 months later in the same 2021 I passed my CCE, All thanks to GP Academy and God almighty. But our vindictive Medical Board will never leave sleeping dogs lie; I,ve had a lot of problems with them including a bizarre decision to still place me on level1 after attaining specialist registration but that's a story for another day. To cut the long story short, I,ve overcome that and still practicing as a Specialist registered GP today. Thank you Sol.

I highly recommend GP Academy, not only for passing the fellowship exams ( which it certainly does) but also to learn more about day to day challenges in general practice. The star system in the portal helped me to prepare for the exam in most time efficient way and not to lose the plot in the pile of resources that I needed to go through before the exam. Presentation were also full of useful information due to Sol’s hard work and dedication.

Without the help of the GP academy , I don't think I can pass the exams .
